About Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO) and the UPAEP Funds
In 2011, the UPAEP University Foundation Board of Directors established an agreement with the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma (CFO), a prestigious 501(c)(3) publicly supported charity (Federal Tax ID 73-1396320). This agreement was designed to support the UPAEP University Foundation's charitable goals.
CFO’s oversight ensures that fund usage aligns with the donor’s intentions, and the Executive Director of the UPAEP University Foundation serves as the advisor to this fund. All your gifts are tax-deductible through CFO.
You can choose the fund that aligns with your philanthropic interests and make your donation using the various options CFO has for receiving your contribution to the selected fund. Below you will find information about the three UPAEP funds and the diferent ways to contribute.

UPAEP Foundation
Endowment Fund
This is a permanent, invested fund. This long-term investment preserves donations, with only the generated income used to support the initiatives of the UPAEP University Foundation.
UPAEP Administrative Fiscal Sponsorship Fund
Donations to this fund directly support operational expenses and initiatives aligned with the mission of the UPAEP University Foundation. The Executive Director of the UPAEP University Foundation serves as the fund advisor.
UPAEP José Rodolfo Carvajal Sánchez Scholarship Fund
This is a permanent, invested fund. This long-term investment safeguards donations, utilizing only the generated income to support international mobility programs for deserving students with financial need.
